The Klammer pine bench (staples and bracket in German) is a piece ot furniture that lasts forever.
15 years ago I made a bench like this out of solid wood. Then, a neighbor from Kreuzberg (Berlin) was dismantling a wooden raised bed frame he had in his apartment and asked me for help. Seeing me treating the boards with so much love, he asked me if I would like to use them for something... And that’s how the idea of building a bench for my apartment instantly appeared.
This first stool has accompanied me everywhere I have lived until today. Those of you who have come home have already been able to try it and enjoy it… And thanks to your feedback I have been encouraged to make a new small production of national pine.
Like its name, the Klammer bench is a very robust, timeless piece of furniture for all spaces. Combines with many styles of interior design and architecture.
